It has been found that many popular diet plans deprive women of much needed calcium by banning dairy products in their diets. Their argument is that dairy products are fattening. Low calcium diet leads to the production of Calcitriol, the hormone which triggers the production of fat cells. Production of Calcitriol is the body’s way of conserving calcium. When you have proper calcium in your diet, your body will be burning existing fat cells. Since your body will no longer be producing more fat cells, you will end up losing weight.

A healthy diet program provides for balanced nutrition and also advocates proper exercise regime. Your weight loss goal can be easily achieved by combining a healthy diet with healthy living.
